An estimated crowd of about 500 people turned out Aug. 30 to see the handiwork 18 clubs and individual residents at Community Hall. Attendees were treated to displays of everything from beaded Christmas ornaments, stained glass and seasonal ceramics to handmade pillows, notecards and handsewn items of all kinds. The free event was a great way for participants to promote themselves and make a few bucks, while supporting the sponsoring Arts & Crafts Club of Sun City Center.

About 500 people came to peruse the handiwork of some of residents of Sun City Center and Kings Point at the recent Makers Marketplace Craft Fair.

This sign greeted visitors to the inaugural Makers Marketplace Craft Fair at Community Hall Aug. 30. The event included door prizes, snacks/beverages and free, 10-minute chair massages.
