If you haven’t attended one of the Sun City Center Metaphysical Society’s three annual events, you may be missing more than you realize.
“They’re not only for people interested in astrology, palmistry or numerology,” said Vicky Sand, SCC Metaphysical Society president. “It’s also for people who want to pick up some organic honey or body products, buy a tie-dye T-shirt or a nice piece of jewelry.”
The next Metaphysical Society Fair is coming up Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sun City Center Area Chamber of Commerce, so why not stop by and check it out?
More than 25 vendors will feature everything from original, handmade silver and wire wrapped, natural-stone jewelry, CBD hemp products and women’s fiction to essential oils, body care products and Mr. B’s honey.
As always, there will be an array of readers and folks with other special gifts; acupuncture, reflexology and massage professionals; and purveyors of spiritual and inspirational gifts.
“Even if you’re in a hurry and can’t attend the event, stop by the Sun City Center Chamber’s parking lot and pick up lunch items from Top-Dog, which will be selling Nathan’s hot dogs, Beyond Sausage sandwiches, beverages and chips,” Sand said.
Admission to the fair is free, and everyone is welcome.
“The goal of the SCC Metaphysical Society is to open people’s hearts and minds to ideas and concepts beyond their immediate senses,” Sand said. “Our mission is to inspire and empower others to explore and discover their highest expression of spiritual self-awareness.
The group meets every Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Heritage Room at the Atrium building for presentations on various subjects, including holistic and alternative health, astrology, near-death experiences, angels, auras and more.
Admission is free to members and $1 for nonmembers. All are welcome.
Membership dues are $10 per year.
