Local martial arts team wins big
Jurassic Martial Arts + Fitness won big at American Taekwondo Foundation Regional Tournament in Slidell, La. over the Memorial Day Weekend. The athletes competed and won trophies from Forms division, Sparring and Board-Breaking. Two competitors earned perfect scores for their forms competition, and JMAF represented grande at the tournament. Jurassic Martial Arts + Fitness now prepares for a summer program offered at their school, seminars for self-defense including one at the Palmetto Library, accepting new students throughout the summer, an ATF summer camp in Andalusia, Ala., and more. It is located across from Palmetto High School, and is open during the summer.
