Gated security
This is a follow-up letter to the one I sent you on “Gated Security,” which you printed on February 22, 2018. Subsequent to that, I received many responses from residents of Kings Point echoing their concerns about security. Shortly thereafter, I received a phone call from the Chief of Security, Donn Aikins, who invited me to his office so we could discuss the matter in detail. At the meeting the chief explained the procedure the gate guards are required to follow with persons who wish to purchase tickets. After my conversation with Mr. Aikins I feel much more comfortable about “nonresidents” being able to breach security at Kings Point.
