The Retired Officers’ Corporation at Freedom Plaza and the Sun City Center Area Chamber of Commerce invite you to join us as we Rally Our Troops to Fight Cancer during the Sun City Center Mini Relay for Life. This important local event is set for Thursday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Freedom Plaza’s Golfview Terrace grounds.
The chamber has put together its own team, The Chamber Champions, and you can help us with our fundraising efforts. Right now, we’re taking donations of any amount at the chamber, 1651 Sun City Center Plaza, so stop in if you can and pitch in.
You can also log on to www.relayforlife.org/suncitycenterfl and click “donate” and then “donate to a team” to help us out without leaving your home.
Just think about this: If all our members and Sun City Center area residents each donated just $1, we could truly raise thousands for lifesaving cancer research studies, critical patient care programs and education and prevention initiatives.
If you plan on participating March 22, we invite you to join The Chamber Champions or cheer on the team. We’ll have a table at the event where we’ll be raising additional funds. Chamber member Hal Jeffery, The Chamber Champions co-chair, will MC the event.
