MANATEE COUNTY, FL (September 20, 2017) – Over 40 employers and agencies have signed up to be at this year’s Annual Hiring Fair at Manatee County’s Downtown Library on Monday, September 25, from 1 PM to 4PM. Representatives will be on hand from community and employment agencies, along with the financial, construction, mechanical, education, government, health/medical, hospitality, retail, senior living industries.
The Hiring Fair, one of Manatee Libraries’ largest events, is different from other hiring fairs because it offers free one-on-one resume consultations and career resources. In addition, all six of Manatee Libraries offer free computer usage, enabling job seekers to research employers and submit resumes online.
New this year: Door prizes, which include a Starbucks gift card, T-shirts and gift baskets. All registered attendees will be eligible. Refreshments, including coffee, will be made available for free on the Second Floor lounge.
Downtown Central Library is located at 1301 Barcarrota Boulevard West, Bradenton 34205, and the event will take place in the First Floor Auditorium and Second Floor. Job seekers are encouraged to dress their best and bring copies of their resumes or a USB drive with their resume.
