I may be wrong, but it seems that our local businesses don’t always get the recognition or credit that they deserve. Without their help, our in-home flood disaster would have been more than we could cope with. Our cat Ninja woke us up one morning several weeks ago, letting us discover that the refrigerator filter line was disconnected. All the carpet, laminate and hardwood floors were flooded. I made one phone call to John Moore of John Moore’s Design Center. It wasn’t 15 minutes until he was in our home. He saw the disaster. He made one phone call to Bill Lilea of SW Disaster Restoration, who happened to be in Brandon at the time, but it wasn’t more than a half-hour before Mr. Lilea was in our home. Less than two hours later, five or six men with all kinds of equipment were working to dry us out, and the disaster crew’s cleanup has been exceptional. John Moore’s crew installed our new carpet and laminate flooring. What a beautiful job
When the time came for new kitchen countertops, our neighbor recommended AGS Stone of Brandon. Kathy King could not have been more helpful. We are still a work in progress, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We would like to thank the business owners and their crews. They were here when we so desperately needed them.
