William “Bill” Rudy, currently of Richmond, Va., formerly from Ohio and Florida, has passed away at the age of 87. He died peacefully, surrounded by family, on July 13, 2016. He will be missed by his wife of 60 years, Joanna. His children Linda Carlson (Ron), Laura Follmer (Marc), Mark Rudy (Mia Lombardi), Lisa Harrison (Eric) and eight grandchildren will forever hold him in their hearts. Rita Lanes, 72 of Palmetto and Apollo Beach, Florida passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 in the early afternoon at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg with her much-loved family by her side. Rita was dearly loved by all her family and friends. She always wanted to make you happy and adored all children; especially her precious Ariah that called her Gigi. She worked as a bookkeeper all her life, but in her spare time, one of her favorite hobbies was to cook. She loved all food, especially if it was spicy. She enjoyed traveling; whether it was just a “One Tank Trip,” Disney World, or traveling abroad. She wanted to see and do it all. Her favorite country was England, where she discovered life-long friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Mason; her grandson, Brandon Guindon; her granddaughter, Stephanie Taylor; her great granddaughter, Ariah Taylor; her brother, Richard Lanes; and her countless loving family of nephews, nieces, and in-laws.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Anna Lanes, father; Rene Lanes, and sister; Phyllis Lane; and her beloved cats Rosie and Beauty

Susan K. Mohr, 66 of Apollo Beach, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2016. Kindergarten classmate, Junior Prom date and wife of 43 years to Attorney Robert H. Mohr. The very proud Mother of her sons, Jeffrey R. Mohr (Bethany), Kevin R. Mohr, Kurtis B. Mohr (David Blackwelder) and Robert H. Mohr, Jr. (Caitlin). Also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Kayla, Kassy and Jack, sisters, Beverly Jensen (Wayne) and Kristine Moras (Mike), sister and brothers–in-laws, Sandra Robak (George), James Mohr (Sarah) and Thomas Mohr (Pamela), and many nieces and nephews.

Carole D. Haverfield passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at Manatee Hospital in Bradenton due to heart illness. Carole leaves behind her husband, Thomas Haverfield (the Sun City Center watercolor teacher) and two children, Heather Haverfield and Shawn Haverfield, both of Apollo Beach; four grandchildren; Heathers two children, Gianna and Trenton; and Shawn’s twins Skyler and Luke.
Carole leaves a sister, June and her husband Alan Kretzer of Canfield, Ohio.
Carole attended Bowling Green State University in Ohio where she met her husband of 53 years. Carole taught high school and elementary art in Ohio for 26 years. She won many awards is silversmith and ceramic clay bowls. Her talents bubbled over, winning art awards in Sun City Center art shows.
Carole and her spouse ran the Sun City Art Show for two years. Tom is still teaching watercolor at the SCC art building.
They will have a mass on Monday, Aug. 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center. Luncheon to follow the mass, and all attending are invited.
