‘Walt’ Klein
“Walt” Klein, 77, of Kings Point, formerly of Cuddy, Pa., passed away April 21, 2016. He was born in Carnegie, Pa., to the late Walter Michael and Katherine Schade Klein.
Walt worked as an electronics technician for many years, and also served as a Deputy Wildlife Conservation Officer with the Pennsylvania Game Commission from 1972 to 1988. He was a 50-year member of good standing in the Masonic Lodge #669, Oakdale, Pa. Walt was also a former member of Cuddy Sports Club. He loved gardening and had his own garden plot at Kings Point.
He and Peggy, his wife of 38 years, enjoyed traveling to destinations such as Germany, Ireland, Alaska and the Panama Canal. They moved to Sun City Center five years ago.
Walt was a kind, loving man who loved corny jokes and quality time with his family and friends. Let’s all remember Walt “FOR THE GOOD TIMES!”
Walt is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Klein; son W. Michael (Zita L. Stonick) Klein, of Pikesville, Md.; daughters Sharee A. (Jim) Best, of Basehor, Kan., and Dawn M. (Jeff) Schiller, of Corinth, Maine; sisters Anna Mae (the late, Harry) Eltschlager, of Zelienople, Pa., and Ruth Vernon Kramer, of Ingleside, Texas; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Walt’s life will be held in Pennsylvania at a future date.

Bonnie L. Greenlee
Bonnie L. Greenlee, 80, of Sun City Center, Fla., died April 22, 2016. She is survived by husband Dr. Gary J. Greenlee, daughter Lee, son Mac and sister ChiChi Meyer.
Lynn Leonhardt
Lynn Leonhardt, 68, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away Friday, April 15, 2016, at Brandon Regional Hospital. Lynn was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Sloan and Delta Goad on December 31, 1947.
Lynn is survived by son Kyle Leonhardt, Fla.; daughter Kim Bryant, Ga.; brother David Goad, N.J.; sister Lesley Wildgoose, N.C.; and four loving grandchildren.
Lynn had worked in the Ruskin and Sun City Center areas for several decades. This included South Bay Hospital, Bay Area Cardiology, and the Ruskin Kmart. She was a friend to everyone she met and will be missed by all.
A celebration of her life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Zipperer’s Funeral Home, 1520 33rd St. S.E. in Ruskin.
Janet Wisdom
Janet (Jan) Ruth Wisdom, 82, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away on April 15, 2016, following a long illness. Jan is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert, Captain, U.S. Navy (Ret.) of Sun City Center; nieces Laura Abbott of Savannah, Ga., Mary Luterek of Waterloo, Iowa, Carol Buxton of Carroll, Iowa; and nephew, Larry Risvold of Elgin, S.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Bernard and E. Lucile Risvold, and her brother, Harry Risvold.
Jan was born on February 28, 1934, in Sioux Rapids, Iowa, and grew up in the very small town of Traer, Iowa. She attended public schools there and was very active in music, drama classes and productions. She attended Drake University in Des Moines and graduated in 1956 with a BA degree in English and Fine Arts.
She was an accomplished musician on piano, organ and the clarinet and was in the Drake Marching Band. She appeared in and starred in many theater productions while a student at Drake. She was also very active in the Chi Omega Social Sorority.
Following graduation from Drake University in 1956, she met and married Robert Wisdom, a career Naval Aviator. During Robert’s service to the nation, she was a dedicated wife and lent great support to his successful career over the many years of his military service. Together they were stationed throughout the United States.
Jan was socially active and was deeply involved in the Catholic Church and charitable organizations for over 60 years. She formed her fondness for volunteer work beginning with The Navy/Marine Corps League, and she continued serving poor parishes, using her talent on the organ. She also served as a Lector in several parishes.
After her husband’s retirement they settled in St. Petersburg, Fla., where she chaired the Altar Guild at St. Peter’s Cathedral and authored the Handbook for Altar Guild Servers. She continued her volunteer activities with “Reach to Recovery,” where she visited over 500 women immediately after they had breast cancer surgery.
Jan will always be remembered as a friendly and compassionate person. After a move to Weeki Wachee, Fla., she enjoyed playing golf as a member of GlenLakes Country Club but also continued her volunteer work, spending many hours as a dedicated volunteer and supervisor at the DayStar Hope Center of Spring Hill, Fla., where they served the poor and homeless of Hernando County and beyond.
She was an active member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood for 64 years, an international philanthropic and educational organization that raises funds to support women continuing their education through scholarships, loans, grants and personal encouragement to succeed. Jan was a co-founder of P.E.O. Chapter HR in Weeki Wachee.
A Funeral Mass will be held at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center on May 3, 2016. A reception will be held following the Mass.
Interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date.
