Robert F. Cleary
Robert (Bob) Cleary, 86, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, December 8, 2015.
Bob had been a resident of Sun City Center since his retirement in 1991. He was active in the Security Patrol, lawn bowling and Caloosa Golf and Country Club, thoroughly enjoying his activities until his health began to fail.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy, their daughter Ellen, her husband, two beautiful grandchildren and surviving siblings: Mary, Rose Ann, David, Susie and Steve. He was predeceased by daughter Katie, brothers Bill, Kevin, John, Joe and sister Marge.
A funeral Mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Friday, January 8, at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution in his memory to the charity of your choice or to SCC Emergency Squad would be appreciated.
Walter Lee Wight
Walter Lee Wight, 84, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 under the care of Sun City Center Hospice House, with his loving family at his side.
Born in Benton, Ark., on September 20, 1931, Walter was a retired engineer for DuPont Chemical Company, a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a Deacon at Trinity Baptist Church.
Walter is survived by Carolyn Wight, his wife of 62 years; daughter Debra (Jay) Virtue of St. Louis, Mo.; son Douglas (Cindy) Wight of Midlothian, Va.; and sisters Elva Doling and Velma Clark.
Walter is also survived by six grandchildren: Ben, Daniel, Mary, Jacob, Madeline and Sam; and great-grandchildren Jonathan and Mabel.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, Sun City Center.
Inurnment will be in Little Flock Cemetery, Little Flock, Ark., at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund.
