It was Christmas in August during a fresh market held both indoors and out at the Sun City Center Chamber of Commerce on Saturday.
Hundreds of people turned out to check out a wide variety of vendors, ranging from gift items to locally grown and gourmet foods. The elves wandering the crowd (and the air conditioning inside) helped to take the edge off a warm summer day.
Legal Shred was also on hand to shred sensitive documents in an effort to thwart identity theft in the community. And, in keeping with Christmas in August, it’s important to note that there are, after all, only 140 or so days until Christmas.
