Dear Editor,
I have been a member of this community for over 20 years and most of them working with Hanson Services, In Home Care, helping with the needs of our senior community.
I am a Rotarian and have been for over 11 years and our motto is “Service Above Self” and this past weekend we Rotarians held a food drive at Winn-Dixie and we would like to take this opportunity to thank Winn-Dixie and the community for extending their help, care and concern for those less fortunate.
As we all continue to battle the war on poverty let us be thankful to all the service clubs in our area. The Kiwanians focus mainly on young children priorities and their education. The Shriners support the medical conditions of children under 18. The Lions focus on eyeglasses for the needy.
These are just a few of the service clubs we are all blessed with in this very “giving” community, and they all deserve a big thank you and the community itself for all that you do to help better the lives of our fellow man. May you all be blessed !!!
