The Canoe Outpost on the Little Manatee River in Wimauma will hold another show Saturday, March 21, in its Outback Free Concert Series, a camping, paddling, getaway weekend event.
Canoe Outpost will be open during the day for paddlers, who are encouraged to stay for the music or camp and make a weekend of it.
The free concert features Sound Traveler, a husband-and-wife duo who play several instruments and music from across many eras and styles — classic rock, pop, country and folk favorites as well as original tunes.
Food and beverages will be available during the concert, which runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. After the performance, there will be an open mic night and campfire, so bring your instruments.
There will be plenty of bench or picnic table seating, or bring your lawn chairs. It’s a family-friendly event, and pets on leashes are welcome.
Canoe Outpost is at 18001 U.S. 301 S., just three miles south of Sun City Center. Camping and lodging options are available.
