Terry Ackroyd
Terry Arthur Ackroyd passed away January 15, 2015, at the VA Hospital in Augusta, Ga.
Terry was born March 25, 1949, in St. Petersburg, Fla., to Arthur and Charlotte Ackroyd.
Terry was a Vietnam veteran who served two tours of duty, 1967 and 1968.
He loved to fish and hunt, which earned him the nickname “Trout-Master.” He retired from, and was part owner of, Walter’s Plumbing Services of Ruskin.
Terry was loved by all who knew him and will be very much missed. He is survived by sons Jamie Williams, Zeke Ackroyd and Travis Ackroyd; daughters Laurel Hammerly and Sarah Ibrahem; 12 grandchildren; sister Deborah Cross of Largo; and former wife, Linda Ackroyd Weintraub of Ruskin.

Robert A. Engelhardt
Robert A. Engelhardt of Sun City Center passed away on January 19, 2015, at age 100.
Bob was married for 77 years to Virginia Rogner Engelhardt, who passed away in 2012.
He is survived by son Robert E. Engelhardt of Henderson, Nev., and daughter Linda Conrad of Palmetto, Fla., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., Bob had a career with U.S. Steel and had been retired for 43 years.
His love for the Lord Jesus Christ was evident to all who met him.
Barbara Dickinson Gray
1930 – 2014
Barbara Dickinson Gray passed away at her home in Sun City Center, Fla., on December 19, 2014. She was 84 years old. Barbara was born in Utica, N.Y., to Margaret Dickinson Gray and her husband, Latham Burberry Gray.
Barbara is survived by sister Charletta G. Hubbard; brother Latham B. Gray Jr.; niece Gail H. Carlson; and several other nieces and nephews.
Barbara graduated with a bachelor’s degree from East Tennessee State College and a master’s in physical therapy from the University of Washington. Barbara served in the U.S. Army 1952-1979. She retired as an Army colonel, having served in many locations throughout the U.S., and a tour in Viet Nam in 1966.
Barbara moved to Sun City Center in 1995 with longtime friend Helen E. Price. Upon moving to Sun City Center, she enjoyed traveling, woodworking and friends. Both Barbara and Helen became active with the Military Family Support Trust organization. Barbara’s legacy remains in a yearly scholarship presented to a promising high-school senior to support his or her future college education.
Barbara will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, at Freedom Plaza Auditorium. Interment with military honors will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

Fausto Vicente Sontay
Fausto Vicente Sontay, 39, resident of Gibsonton, Fla., passed away January 14, 2015, due to injuries received during an accident.
He was born in Guatemala and came to the United States 11 years ago.
He is survived by his mother Francisca Vicente; his beloved wife Paulina Lopez; and two daughters and a son, all residing in Guatemala. He also is survived by a sister in Colorado and many cousins residing in West Palm Beach. He worked in construction and was a very respectful person, with numerous friends who thought the world of him.
All arrangements were taken care of by his good friend Jessica Martinez and his employer, all in Gibsonton, to ensure that he was returned to his family in Guatemala. Burial will be in Guatemala.
Arrangements were entrusted to the All County Funeral Home and Crematory in Lake Worth, Fla.
