Donald R. Anderson, M.D.
Donald R. Anderson, M.D., of Sun City Center, Fla. / Pembine, Wis., died in the loving arms of his wife on November 17, 2014, at the age of 79.
He was the beloved husband of June C. Anderson; father of Jeff (Rhonda) Anderson and Donna (Todd) Grenfell; stepfather of Christine (Mike) Lambert, Cheri (Mike) Becker, Connie (Jim) Massey and Kevin (Carrie) Matuszak; grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and brother of Margaret “Peggy” (Conrad) Dejardin.

William G. Fritschel
William “Dr. Bill” G. Fritschel, 75, of Sun City Center, Fla., and Sturgeon Bay, Wis., passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014. Bill was born on June 1, 1939, in Dubuque, Iowa, and graduated in 1957 from Green Bay West High School. He married Carol Hardgrove of Toledo, Ohio, on June 20, 1964.
Dr. Bill had many accomplishments in his life. He attended St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis., University of Wisconsin – Madison, and University of Wisconsin Medical School. He did advanced medical training at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo and at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor.
In the U.S. Army Reserves, Bill achieved rank of Colonel. He headed a medical unit in Asheville, N.C., another unit in Tennessee, and was associated with the 44th Medical Unit in Green Bay. Through the military, he received many honors and awards.
While in Green Bay, Dr. Bill enjoyed his family practice with Dousman Clinic. He was also affiliated with St. Mary’s, St. Vincent and Bellin hospitals until his retirement in 1998.
Dr. Bill enjoyed traveling, camping, boating and spending time with his two grandsons. Throughout his life, he enjoyed history and geology, as well as collecting coins and other antiques. He shared a love of shipwrecks with his grandson Ian. Bill also enjoyed good conversations with friends.
Bill was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church of Sun City Center, Corpus Christi Parish in Sturgeon Bay, and was a past member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Green Bay.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Carol; daughter Jenni (Brandon) Selissen of Green Bay; grandsons Ian Gregory and Owen Fredrick Selissen; brother Paul (Patricia) Fritschel of Madison, Wis.; sister Barbara (Paul) Holtermann of The Villages, Fla.; sisters-in-law Susan Pokorney of Toledo, and Roberta Hardgrove Hansen (Steen Knudsen) of Ebeltoft, Denmark, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Monica Fritschel and Alta Fritschel; son Gregory William Fritschel; in-laws Richard and Frances Hardgrove; and niece Annette Holtermann Riley.
A memorial Mass was held Nov. 22 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Military honors will follow. Inurnment will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
