On Saturday, October 11, the SouthShore Regional Library flung open some of the hidden, creepy doors for its fourth annual teen Halloween party. “It’s called the Monster Bash, it’s our annual teen Halloween event,” said Sean Daniel-Ennis of the Library. “We have a live band playing and a costume contest. We usually have about 100 to 150 teens show up and we’re hoping for even more this year.” The event ran from 6 to 10 p.m. and also included food and beverages. Live music was provided by Obskurity, an impressive teenage rock band out of Apollo Beach featuring lead vocalist Teagan Byrnes, Lynne Conner on bass and backup vocals, Kenneth Michaud on lead guitar and Brendan Rhea on rhythm guitar.
