Good Wednesday morning to you!
At 7:15 a.m., the humidity was a sultry 90 percent with a south wind blowing in all of that nice, warm, and wet air from our Caribbean neighbors. Think of it as a vacation of sorts — without the flying… or the mojitos.
Today South Hillsborough is shooting for a high of 89 degrees. Expect it to be a bit warmer inland. There is a chance of isolated thunderstorms with the real precipitation show still on tap for Friday and Saturday but also bringing cooler temperatures with it.
We are past the state of cold fronts, it seems. Consider them “cool fronts” or “less than seriously hot fronts” from now until October.
But look on the bright side! People in the Upper Midwest saw snow fall yesterday.
The Observer News, The SCC Observer and The Current will start landing in driveways and at local businesses today. Pick up your copy and enjoy! The web is great and all but there is a serendipity to the printed page that all of those electrons on a glowing screen just can’t top.
