Clarence A. Cronauer
Clarence A. Cronauer, 89, of Sun City Center, Florida, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, PA, passed away April 20, 2013. He was the son of the late Clarence B. and Mildred (Miller) Cronauer.
He graduated from G.A.R. High School and served as an AEM1c (Aviation Electrician’s Mate First Class) in the U.S. Navy during WWII between 1943 and 1946. Clarence was an avid supporter of the Silver Osprey Squadron #64 and also a member of the Association of Naval Aviation. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 163 for over fifty years. Before his retirement he obtained a pilot’s license and enjoyed flying his own plane. Clarence became a resident of Florida in 2000. He lived in Naples and then Sun City Center. He loved golf, his weekly pinochle club and was an avid sportsman. Clarence was also past President and served on the Board of Directors of the Wyoming Valley Pilots Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores J. (Pesavento) and son-in-law Martin Anstett.
Surviving are his long-time significant other Harriet Armstrong; daughter, Carole (Cronauer) Anstett; son Thomas and wife Joanne (Siefring); grandchildren Thomas Cronauer, Marty Anstett and Lori (Anstett) Barse; great-grandchildren Grace Anstett, Nicholas Barse and Gabriella Barse; brothers Raymond and Robert; and sister Mary (Cronauer) Delong.
A Mass and Christian burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Life Path Hospice, 723 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, FL 33573.
Robert E. Hibbard
Robert E., “Bob” Hibbard, 73 of Sun City Center, Fla. passed away April 25, 2013. He retired after 34 years of service with Massachusetts Electric and was a member of the Elks Lodge of Ruskin, Fla. and the Sun City Center and Kings Point Amateur Radio Club with the call sign N1ZK. His hobbies also included remote-control airplanes, karaoke and photography.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael Hibbard; his brothers Clarence, George, Ernest and Charles Hibbard; and sisters Ida Rowe and Mabel Hibbard.
Survivors include his wife Beverly; son Jeffrey Hibbard; daughter Pamela (Mark) Bugbee; grandchildren Erin and Kurt Bugbee; and his 90-year-old sister Hazel Blake.
Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Florida Chapter, Southwest Florida Office, 5100 West Kennedy Blvd., Suite 195, Tampa, Florida 33609.

Kathleen “Kay” Mulcahy
Kay passed on to join her beloved husband on April 1.
Kathleen Lentell Woodworth was born on November 7, 1923 in Framingham, Massachusetts.
She and her husband John moved to Sun City Center in 1989. They were fairly private people up until John’s passing in 2002, as she was always by his side, in sickness and in health.
She found her way to a wonderful grief group at the United Community Church, which in turn led her to the Metaphysical Society and The Way of Truth Mystery School. She was a well-loved, active and eager participant of both groups. She was also a devoted member of her church, All Paths to God.
Her granddaughter Dawn Laine was by her side as she transitioned from this world. Kay was very much looking forward to the next chapter of her journey.
The Metaphysical Society and All Paths to God are hosting a Celebration of her life at the Atrium’s Florida Room on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12. The service will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a luncheon provided by the Metaphysical Society. Guests are encouraged to share their stories of how Kay’s “Kind and Loving Spirit” impacted their lives.
Reverend Sue’s church service starts at 11 a.m. The luncheon will begin at noon, with sharing of stories beginning at 1:30 p.m.
In Kay’s honor, please remember, “No matter what the question, the answer is LOVE.”
