As part of National Library Week, the Riverview Branch Library will host author Lori Roy to discuss both of her novels, “Until She Comes Home” and “Bent Road.” Roy will also answer questions and autograph copies of her books afterwards.
The event will take place at the library, located at 10509 Riverview Drive, on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m.
Roy’s debut novel, “Bent Road” was awarded the Edgar Allen Poe Award for Best First Novel. It was also named a 2011 New York Times Notable Crime Book and a 2012 notable book by her home state of Kansas, and was nominated for the Book-of-the-Month Club First Fiction Award. The novel has been optioned for film production.
Roy’s second novel, “Until She Comes Home,” will be published in June of this year.
Roy currently lives with her family in Florida.
