Georgine M. Armour
Georgine M. Armour (McElver) of Dearborn, formerly of Sun City Center FL, went to be with our Lord on February 1, 2013. She was born on August 2, 1934 in Rochester, NY. She attended MSU where she met and married Lawrence W. Armour. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, mother Florence McElver Ellis and father George H. McElver.
Mrs. Armour was a 10-year employee of the City of Dearborn Water Department. She is survived by her sister Janet Wetzel (Loren), daughter Sheryl Bieniak (David) and son Lawrence Armour, Jr. (Kim); grandsons Ryan (Lindsay), James, Kyle and Warren; and great-grandsons Henry and Emmett.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. at Henry Ford Village Chapel, 15101 Ford Rd., Dearborn, with visitation beginning at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Georgine’s name to the Angela Hospice at www.angelahospice.org.
Maryo C. Bierman
Maryo C. Bierman, 81, of Largo, formerly of Sun City Center, died February 10, 2013 at Heron House of Indian Rocks. Born in San Angelo, TX, she moved to SCC from Anchorage, AK in 1992 where she retired as a school teacher and reading specialist after 25 years. She was a graduate of the Univ. of Texas and earned a Master’s degree in Special Education from Univ. of Alaska.
She was a member of Sun City Center Presbyterian Church and Tradewinds Presbyterian Church in So. Pasadena, FL. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Red Hat Society, the Republican Party, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She was a Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed art, painting, traveling, and gardening.
Maryo was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Casper S. Bierman, USAF, Ret. and her sister, Joanne Johnston. Survivors include her daughters Deborah Harlan of Bakersfield, CA and Diane Riggleman of Seminole, FL; son John of Seminole; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, 12685 Ulmerton Road in Largo, followed by services at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.

Mary Ann Crossley
Mary Ann Crossley, 71, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 17, 2013.
She was born to the late William Edward Amaismeier and Mary Emily Hummel on January 17, 1942 in Miami, Fl. She married the late James Alfred Crossley in 1983, and they lived together in Sundance, Fl.
Mary was a highly admired waitress at Sun City Center until she retired in the late 90s. She was a pillar of our community working with Kiwanis Club, the Lions Club, Saint Anne’s Church and Hibernian Society. She enjoyed her time with all and was well cherished.
Mary is survived by three children: Patricia Owens of Gibsonton, Fl.; Andrew Puskas of Palm Coast, Fl.; and Richard Puskas of Bradenton, Fl. She is also survived by four grandchildren.

A mass in her honor and reception was held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Saint Anne Catholic Church.
Kenneth Guy Gleason
Kenneth Guy Gleason, age 90, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away of natural causes on January 9, 2013. Kenneth was born on February 20, 1922 in Alta Vista, Kansas to Merrill E. and Nina I.(Wolgast) Gleason.
He was married to Nadine M. Barb on October 3, 1945 in Lawrence, Kansas. Kenneth served in the Army Air Corps during World War II as a fighter pilot in the India-Burma Theater and was awarded an Air Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters.
After the war, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Wichita University, Master’s and Doctorate degrees from Columbia University. He worked as a teacher and administrator in the Wichita Public Schools and as an Academic Administrator and tenured Professor at Wichita State University.
Kenneth and Nadine moved to Florida in 1991. They were active in the Manchester 3 Association in Kings Point and in St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.
Kenneth loved to participate in and attend sporting events, especially baseball, football, basketball and tennis. His sons are especially grateful to him for passing on the love of those sports to them.
He is survived by his wife Nadine; sons Gregg (Jan) and Mark (Donna); grandchildren Aaron, Lauren and Kenneth A.; brother Ron (Connie); and sister Carole Austin. He was preceded in death by granddaughter Shannon.
Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
William Charles Larson
William Charles Larson, 65, of Sun City Center, Florida and Reidsville, North Carolina, passed away Sept. 13, 2012 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
He leaves behind his beloved Sherri Lynn; daughters Wendy Larson, Amy Jarvis and Julie Hall; grandson Justin; sister Nancy (Ken) Garrettson; brother Robert (Donna) Larson; and their entire families.
He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam and was buried at the Salisbury National Cemetery in North Carolina on Nov. 16. In Sun City Center he attended the United Methodist Church, was a member of the Way of Truth, the metaphysical group, and the woodworking club. He loved life and God’s Truth.
