Richard Robenhorst
Richard Robenhorst, 84, of Sun City Center, Florida died peacefully on Saturday, June 23, 2012.
He was born in Hammond, Indiana, to Fred and Helen Robenhorst, where he spent his childhood. He graduated from Hammond High School and joined the United States Navy in 1945. Upon his return he enrolled in Tri State College in Angola, IN., and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering HVAC. He was a partner in Air Products Equipment Co. of Elk Grove Village, IL. Upon his retirement he started his own firm of R.A. Robenhorst Co., Inc. Building Maintenance Contractors, in Munster, Indiana. He sold his company in 1994 when he finally retired to Sun City Center, FL. for a life in the sun.
He is survived by his wife Angeline; 2 children, Pamela (Dan) Klawinski of Seminole, FL, Fred (Lisa); grandchildren Veronika and Julia of Northbrook, IL; a sister Mary Coleman of Valparaiso, IN. and several nieces and nephews. A brother Daniel and sister Joan preceded him in death.
He was an avid golfer and led a neighborhood golf group for many years. He love every minute of it. Golf was his passion for 50 years and he excelled in the game with many awards and trophies to his talent.

Jerry W. Foppe, Major USAF (Ret.)
Jerry Foppe was a native of Illinois who moved to Sun City Center, Florida with his wife, Jane, in October 2003. He was a retired Air Force Officer, Senior Engineer, and Financial Consultant. He held a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemistry from Saint Louis University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Utah. As an Air Force Officer, he was honored as an Outstanding Young Man of America and a TOP Gun in Radar. Among his military awards and decorations he was the recipient of the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service during the Vietnam War while serving as the Chief Controller of a Radar Site in Kao Kai, Thailand. While serving as the Director of Operations of the 601st Tactical Air Control Wing in Germany, he also served as the United States Representative to the Air Defense Software Committee in NATO Headquarters in Belgium. After retiring from the Air Force, and a 10 year career as a Senior Engineer and Program Manager with Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Jerry became a Financial Advisor with American Express Financial Advisors in 1993 when he relocated from Maryland to Bonita Springs, FL. In 1998, he became a Financial Consultant with Calton & Associates. He is the Past President and member of the Board of Directors of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Sun City Center Chapter. He also is the Past Vice Commander and member of the Board of Directors of the Military Order of World Wars. Jerry and his wife, Jane, who is a retired Special Education Teacher of autistic students with Hillsborough County Schools, have 2 children: Dr. Mark Foppe, an Emergency Medicine Physician who lives in Boynton Beach, Florida, and Jennifer Louis, a CPA and President of Emergent Solutions Group who resides in Vienna, Virginia. They have wonderful grandchildren that loved him dearly.
Internment will be held Monday, July 30 at 9:30 a.m. at Sarasota National Cemetery. Celebration of Life Gathering will follow at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church in Sun City Center from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Donations may be made in his memory to LifePath Hospice in Sun City Center.
Gloria V. Puga
Gloria V. Puga, 63, born on August4, 1948 went behind the vail on June 25, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Juan Puga; two sons, Jesus E. Cortez, Demetrio M. Cortez and three daughters; Janie Rangel (Jose Rangel), Jennifer Ojeda (Ricky Ojeda), Ana P. Vasques (Juan C. Vasquez); two brothers; Alfredo Cortez, Roberto Cortez; two sisters Juanita Puga, Maria A. Cortez, 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She will be dearly missed. We Would like to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
