Florence Scoppettuolo
Florence Scoppettuolo, of Sun City Center, FL passed away peacefully March 16, 2012. Florence was born in Hartford, Maine in 1920 and lived most of her life in Malden, MA with her late husband Arthur who predeceased her in 1986. She later moved to Sun City Center, FL and is survived by her son Eugene Scoppettuolo and his wife Lois of Sun City Center, FL; her grandchildren Joseph Scoppettuolo of Margate, FL; Linda & Brian Grehoski, and their children Jason & Jocelyn of Chandler, AZ; and Neal & Danielle Scoppettuolo and their children Mark & Alexis of Wesley Chapel, FL; plus her many friends in Florida and Massachusetts. A private memorial and interment will be held in MA at a later date and we ask that any remembrances you wish to make be made in her memory to the Sun City Center Emergency Squad.
Michael M. Luskin
Michael M. Luskin, 98, of Sun City Center, Fla passed away March 9, 2012. He retired from DuPont as a chemical engineer. We lost a caring, loving man who spent much of his life helping others. He always looked for the good in people. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Pauline and two brothers, Nat, Milt and two sisters, Dottie and Rose. Survivors include three children, Jon (Susan) Luskin, Dona (Bill) Beaston, Eric (Christine) Luskin, a sister, Frances Rakow, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. A private memorial service was held for the family on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Ernest Glaister
Ernest Glaister, 82, of Sun City Center passed away peacefully on March 5, 2012. Ernie was born in Syracuse, NY and was an avid sportsman who hunted and fished the waters of upstate New York and nearby Canada for most of his life. In his youth he enjoyed many outdoor activities including snow and water skiing, as well as being an excellent golfer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He worked for most of his life as a parts manager for White Trucks in Buffalo, NY. In his later years he became involved with Alcoholics Anonymous and dedicated much of his time working with inmates at the prison in Deland, FL while residing in that area. Ernie moved to Sun City in 2007 and continued his affiliation with AA. His experience in Sun City was enjoyable, making many new friends and playing his beloved golf. Ernie was predeceased by his parents, William and Evelyn Glaister, and his sisters, Evelyn Gavin and Margaret Abram, and brother William. He is survived by his sister Ethel Thomas of Orlando and brother Thomas of Riverview, as well as the many nieces and nephews for whom Ernie cared the most. A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 10 at Hospice of Sun City Center. The family would like to extend its appreciation to Ernie’s many Sun City friends whose concern and caring made his years in that community a part of his life he truly cherished. Donations in his name can be made to Alcoholics Anonymous of Sun City or Hospice of Sun City.
Margaret Farnsworth
Margaret Farnsworth’s life journey ended Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at the age of 88.
She and her husband, Lt. Joseph Holley Farnsworth, lived in Joplin for 40 years until retiring to Sun City Center, Florida in 1986.
Private family services will be held.

Barbara G Krich
Barbara G Krich (giertz) 85, passed away on February, 18, 2012. Barbara was born and raised in Elgin, IL. She resided there until 1960 when she and her family moved to Southern California. She was active in her community and was an activist for many causes. In 2000 Barbara made another move to Florida. She fought Alzheimers courageously for 7 years. She is survived by her companion Phillip Weiss.
She is survived by her sister, Helen Claghorn (Florida); her three sons, David Krich (Del Mar, Ca), Jeff Krich (Boca Raton, Fl) and Jay Krich (Los Angeles, Ca). also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Brian, Christopher, Troy, Courtney, Sophia and Gable. A memorial service will be held in Oceanside California in September. Donations in her honor would be to a charity of your choice.
Jack Ternent
Jack Ternent, 84, of Sun City Center, FL., passed away March 25, 2012. Jack retired from American Bridge US Steel and served in WWII in the US Army. He was such an honorable, loving, generous soul. He loved to take things apart and reconstruct it, cruise all over town in his “Baby Cadillac” and bake delicious brownies. Jack’s heart was beautiful and full of love. He is survived by his family, including Mark Terrent and his sister, Peggy McClure. Jack is also survived by his dear friends who loved him so much, including Erika Levcsik, Sabrina Levicsik, Shane Goldman, many nieces and nephews and all his amazing friends. There will be a memorial service for Jack at 10 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2012, at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Sun City Center.
