BELKNAP, Capt. Raymond Arnold
Capt. Raymond Arnold Belknap , 92, widower of Rachael Misel Belknap, died Tues. Feb 8, 2011 at Lexington Country Place in Lexington, KY. Born in Des Moines, IA, he was the son of the late Milton and Jane Arnold Belknap. Mr. Belknap was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, and a commissioned officer and retired Capt. in the United States Public Health Service. Survivors include three children, R. Michael (Gillian) Belknap, Bruce (Mary Ann) Belknap, and Dana (David) Graves; three grandsons, Jeremy and James Belknap and Michael Graves; and two step grandsons, Brian and Adam Graves. Services will be held at a later date in Florida. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Rd. , Lexington, KY is in charge of arrangements.
ALLEN, James L.
James L. Allen, 73, passed away February 11, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Jean; sons, Scott and Kelley; daughter Lynn; a brother, Terry, and a sister Kathy along with other family members and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center, FL. ALEXANDER, Jerrold (Jerry) Francis
Jerrold (Jerry) Francis Alexander passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011. He was born November 16, 1931 in Washington D.C. to the late Paul J. and Margaret A. Alexander. He attended St. John’s Academy in Washington D.C.; graduated from Bethesda/Chevy Chase High School in Bethesda, MD; served two years in the US Navy Seabee Reserves, worked in the press room of the Army Map Service, and then worked for the National Guard Bureau before working at the Library of Medicine Computer Facility at the NIH Campus in Bethesda, MD as a computer programmer and analyst for 39 years. After retiring he moved to Ruskin and spent the next 20 years enjoying the beautiful area. He is survived by his wife, Carol, a stepson, Chip Kahl and his wife Dee, of Havelock, NC, four stepgrandchildren and two step great-grandchildren, two nephews and a niece. He will be deeply missed by all his family and many friends.
AGEE, Elinor Irene Johnson
Elinor Irene Johnson Agee, 93, formerly of Richmond, VA, and Fort Myers, FL, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2011, in Sun City Center, FL, her home for the past five years, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Elinor was predeceased by her dearly beloved husband, Furman Hill Agee, Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Lloyd) Flagg of Sun City Center, FL, sons, Bud (Judy) Agee of Atlanta, GA, and Bill (Jane) Agee of Mechanicsville, VA, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Coral Ridge Funeral Home, Cape Coral, FL. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to your local Alzheimer’s Association in remembrance of Elinor.
