TREVINO, Lionel
Lionel Trevino, 49, of Gibsonton, FL, died peacefully under the care of Life Path Hospice House in Sun City Center, FL, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Naples, FL, on February 24, 1961. Lionel was a painter by trade and even though it was difficult for him to express himself with others he expressed himself beautifully in his work. His enjoyment in life was fishing and being at the beach. He loved the water. It was always his joy and brought him such peace and happiness.
He is survived by his mother Magdalena Trevino four brothers, Homer, Leonardo, Liovardo and Gregory Trevino, three sisters Angelita Cable, Adelita Trevino and Tijuana Speice. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lionel will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His memorial will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. at New Beginnings Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that you consider donations to New Beginnings Baptist Church in memory of Lionel.
STENZEL, Edwin Lee
Edwin Lee Stenzel was born on March 27, 1926 to Edward and Anne Stenzel. He passed away on Jan. 3, 2011. While growing up in East Saint Louis, IL, he worked in the stock yards and on the L&N Railroad. He became an Eagle Scout and played the sousaphone in the high school band. After one semester of college, he was drafted into the Navy. Following an honorable discharge as a Radioman 2/C in 1946, Ed went on to earn a BS in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and began his career with the Dow Chemical Co. in Texas.
In 1949, he met his future wife, Gloria, on a blind date, while she was studying to be an RN. They were married in 1952 and were blessed with two boys and three girls. The years 1950 to 1969 were spent in engineering and plastic production. He was licensed as a professional engineer in the states of Missouri and Texas. In 1969 they moved to Williamsburg, VA so Ed could oversee a joint venture operation of Dow and BASF of Germany. He started as the Plant Manager of Acrylic Fibers Operation and eventually became the President of Dow Badische in 1976. After transferring to New Jersey in 1979, he was named President of the Chemicals Division of BASF and Executive VP of BASF North American Corp., as well as a Member of their Board of Directors.
Upon Ed’s retirement in 1988, he devoted his time to a multitude of organizations including: volunteering as an executive with the International Executive Service Corps (living for three sixmonth intervals in Poland and Russia); serving on the American Cancer Society Board, the United Way Board, the Board of Directors of Williamsburg Landing, the Administrative Board of the United Methodist Church in VA, serving as a member of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, tutoring incarcerated youth and as Deacon of the United Community Church in SCC.
Ed was passionate about golf, Dixieland music, and gardening. He also enjoyed the Radio and Computer Clubs, woodworking and taking bridge lessons. Most of all, he loved spending time with his beloved wife and family. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 58 years, Gloria Stenzel. He is also survived by sons: Richard of Stafford, VA; Thomas (Linda) of Columbus, NC; and daughters: Barbara Stenzel of Lexington, KY; Lynne (Tom) Eckerson of Tampa, FL; Elizabeth (Todd) Hunnicutt of Columbia, SC; and six granddaughters: Meghan, Erin and Jennifer Stenzel, Kylie Eckerson, and Madeline and Sydney Hunnicutt.
Ed Stenzel was a kind and generous man whose qualities as a husband, father and friend were unmatched. He will always be remembered and will always live in our hearts as we treasure the time spent with him.

LEBLANC, Raymond F.
Raymond F Leblanc, 82 of Sun City Center, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011, at his residence.
He was born in Providence, R.I. on July 2, 1928 to the late Elzear and Ada (Goselin) Leblanc. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, he moved to Sun City Center in 2002.
Raymond was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Society, a retired Design Engineer, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Sawdust Engineers.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife: Ann Marie (Crandall), Sons: Raymond (Shirley) Leblanc of Pinckney, MI, Thomas Leblanc of Hartville, OH, Jeffrey (Kathy) Knurek of Fishers, IN, Daughters: Susan (Peter) Vandergoore of Jackson Township, OH, Cindy Boane of Clearwater, FL, Kathy (John) Sedlak of Plain Township, OH, Claudia (Dean) Anderson of Navarre, OH, Laura (Daniel) Pappas of Ft. Wayne, IN and Mary (Timothy) Jacobs of Sunbury, OH. Sister: Theresa Phillips of Sun City Center, FL. Brothers: Clifford (Norma) Leblanc, Leo (Mae) Leblanc and 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughter Lisa Leblanc of Inkster, MI.

KALLISTER, William E.
William E. “Bill” Kallister, 80, passed away peacefully at his home in Edelstein, Illinois, on December 21, 2010. While recovering from a recent surgery in the hospital he succumbed to pneumonia and was brought home for his final two days.
He was born September 30, 1930, in Peoria to Helen (Bruce) and Robert Kallister. He married Jackie Worms on March 23, 1952, was married 58 years, and enjoyed a loving relationship of 62 years. She survives.
Also surviving are his son, Kevin Kallister (Dunlap), daughter Kristy (Neil) Sullivan, and his very special daughter whom he cherished, Karen Kallister of Peoria; grandsons William (Mariko) Kallister of Chicago, Bob Kallister of Washington, Jeffrey Kallister of Peoria, and his only granddaughter, Jennifer Kallister of Peoria. The loving grandpa was thrilled that he lived long enough to see his first great-grandchild, Ken Kallister of Chicago, now 2 years old. He has three surviving brothers: David (Martha) Kallister of Glasford, Tom Kallister of Peoria, Robert J. (Cindy) Kallister of Bellevue and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his oldest son, Kenneth, daughter-in-law, Michelle Kallister, and his parents.
Bill was a successful, self-taught businessman. He was President/co-owner of S&K Chevrolet car dealership in Peoria and S&K Pontiac – GMC in Springfield, retiring in 1997. His son Kevin and grandson Jeffrey continue to operate the Springfield dealership. Bill was very successful in the car industry receiving numerous awards for sales, managerial, and dealer operations. He served on the National Chevrolet Dealer Council and was a past president of the Peoria Metro Car Dealers Association. Bill was also an inventor. He invented, patented, and manufactured the first breakdown bow of its kind which was named Magna-Flite with his life-long friend, Gerald Schaffer. Bill was also past president of the Peoria Kickapoo Archery Club.
Bill’s passion was bow hunting, especially deer, which he did for 68 years. He held national and world records for shooting game animals with a bow and arrow. During one health crisis when Bill was paralyzed from his waist down, he still persevered to hunt with the help of his devoted, best friend, Gene Cooper.
Bill lived a very fulfilling, adventurous, successful, and rich life. All will miss his love, wit, sense of humor, wisdom, business-savvy, bravery, generosity and presence. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, and friend to many far and wide, who raised his family with good values and set an example for all.
Services were held in Peoria, Illinois, on December 27-28, 2010.
Contributions may be made to a memorial fund established at Southside Bank, Peoria, Illinois, for the promotion and education of youth archery, in memory of Bill Kallister.
EDWARDS, Barbara M.
Barbara M. (Todd) Edwards, 84, of Sun City Center, Fl., went to heaven on Monday, January 03, 2011. Born in Claremont, NH, she graduated from Northampton Commercial College in 1946 and upon graduation, became secretary to the legal advisor of United Aircraft in Hartford, Ct. In later years, she became a R.E. broker in Chelmsford, MA. She married and lived in W. Chelmsford, MA, until moving to Sun City Center in 2003. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Glenna F and Harry M. Todd; her former husband, Walter W. Edwards, Jr. and a son, Peter F. Edwards; brother, Richard M. Todd. She is survived by a son, John W. (Sue) Edwards and a daughter Kim E. (Paul) Scherig, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, living in Florida and Minnesota. She also is survived by a twin sister, Helen L. Smith of Northwood, NH, a sister-in-law Judy Todd of Epson, NH and brother Robert E. (Ann) Todd of Kaneohe, HI. She has been active an member of the Methodist Church in the states where she resided.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Sun City Center United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Betty Beach-Connell, officiating. Interment later in the family plot in Claremont, NH, In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Capital Campaign Program of SCCUMC in Sun City Center.
