Sharon A. Carter
Sharon A. Carter, 45, of Harpers Ferry, IA, died April 7, 2011, after a long battle with MS.

Survivors include her mother, Cynthia Gifford of Sun City Center, FL and her father, Edward Gifford of Schenectady, NY, her devoted husband, Arthur and her daughter, Sarah Smith, both of Harpers Ferry.

Christine Garrity Yacovoni
Christine (Chris) Garrity Yacovoni, 62, died at home on Friday April 22, 2011 after a 5 1/2 year battle with cancer. She was born in Wilkes Barre, PA to John and Dorothy Goeringer Garrity. She resided in the Scranton/Wilkes Barre, PA area most of her life and moved to Sun City Center in November, 2007.

She enjoyed her career as an interior designer and sales person. After moving to FL she worked as a receptionist at Fox and Friends Animal Hospital in Sun City Center and retired in December, 2010.Chris had a kind heart and was always willing to help anyone. She especially enjoyed doing interior decorating whenever she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bruce. In addition to her husband, Richard, she is survived by her three step sons and their families, whom she loved: Philip and Janet of Highland Village, TX; Louis and Patricia of Moosic, PA; Richard and Sandi of Richland, MI and grandchildren Marisa (Matthew) Murdock and Kara, Michael, Nina, Erin, Richard, Amanda and Alex Yacovoni. She is also survived by her siblings Glen (Susan) Garrity, Lynn (Philip) Ogren and Paul (Marcia Goldberg) Garrity and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a funeral mass held in her honor on Friday, May, 6 at 11:00 AM in Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center. There will also be a "celebration of life" visitation period that afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the National Cremation location at 308 E College Ave. in Ruskin.

Tessie-Rusiecki-Monti
Tessie-Rusiecki-Monti, 83 of Sun City Center passed away on April 19, due to complications from a brain tumor.

She was part of the Polish club, Italian club, New York club and a member of the Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Louis Monti; sons, Richard and Bruce Rusiecki; grandchildren, Leanne, Stephen, and Valerie.

A memorial mass will be held at the Prince of Peace Church on Saturday May 7 at 11:00 AM, with a reception following the service.
