The SouthShore Chamber takes a new spin on morning coffee.

To the uninitiated, a chamber of commerce coffee meeting might appear to be a drab affair with people in business attire exchanging business cards over a plate of stale donuts. That was certainly not the case at the SouthShore Chamber of Commerce coffee last week, when the office went Gilligan’s Island, complete with assorted tiki accessories, a tropical-inspired breakfast and “Lovey and Thurston Howell Million Dollar Mimosas.”

Chamber director Melanie Morrison came as a cross between the Skipper and Gilligan, while some members showed up in board shorts and flip-flops.
