The Sun City Center Art Club held an opening ceremony for their latest exhibit entitled Planes, Trains, and Automobiles (and Boats). The exhibit features a variety of artists and a wide variety of mediums, from oil on canvas and watercolors to intricately built model airplanes.

The exhibit includes complimentary work from renowned artist Virginia Laudano and her husband Ed, with paintings (Virginia) and models (Ed) of vintage airplanes.

“Every month the art club has a featured art exhibitor for a show. This month, we are featuring all of our members,” said gallery director Mel Solochek. The exhibit includes paintings and models in a wide variety of mediums.

The gallery is located at the Community Association complex on North Pebble Beach and is open to the public at no cost on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
