Prep football kicked off with pre-season August 24. 

In local action:

Riverview fell to Wharton 35-9.

Brandon beat Blake 20-6.

Spoto lost to Alonso 31-6.

East Bay pounded Chamberlain 55-20.

Bloomingdale fell to Durant 34-17.

Lennard tackled Leto 33-13.
