A bit of rain earlier in the day coupled with cool and cloudy weather did not dampen the spirits in Apollo Beach on Saturday night.  The annual Apollo Beach holiday boat parade lit up the sky before hundreds, if not thousands, of shore-side spectators.  The parade route included the major canals within the community.  The parade, a community tradition for more than 20 years, is sponsored and organized by the Apollo Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Tampa Sailing Squadron.  The Tampa Sailing Squadron is located at 1250 Apollo Beach Blvd.  For information about joining next year’s parade, call the chamber at 813-645-1366.
