The SouthShore Chamber of Commerce held their annual awards banquet at the Del
Webb Southshore Falls Clubhouse on Friday night.
C1 Bank was named the 2012 Small Business of the Year, Kids R Kids SouthShore
was named 2012 Large Business of the Year, the E.G. Simmons award went to South
Shore Anglers, Team Gagliardi was named Volunteer of the Year and Gary
Schumacher was presented with the Ambassador Award.
On March 9 and 10, the chamber will hold one of its largest annual events, the
Manatee Festival of the Arts at the TECO South Shore Community Events Center in
Apollo Beach.
