I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there is just something about a small airport that gets me dreaming.  The feeling dates back to my younger days growing up in a farming community in the West. We used to visit the local airport and watch the planes come and go. 

Last week’s photo of Airport Manatee on Highway 41 evokes such memories.  Although not quite in South Hillsborough County, you can see the county line from the airport entrance. 

Making a perfect three point landing this week we have Tom Smithers, Andrew Butler (thanks for the clever method of guessing), Joseph Hastings (not really a trick puzzle, just a wee bit out of the box), and Toni Parrish (you are exactly right, thanks for playing).  The NAPA crew, Sam Baldwin, Dan Bergschneider, Jason Simmons (well, sort of NAPA) and Renee Bergschneider all touched down with the right answer (I think they might be in cahoots behind my back).   Bill Shirey came close with Ruskin International Airport (I really must find out where this RIA is located; yes you win and thanks for the smile).  We have a point floating in the clouds for a correct guess with no signature. 

In yesterday’s news department, Sheila Surla stopped the presses with her guess of the newspaper boxes in Apollo Beach from two weeks ago.
