Where In South Hillsborough?

Can you imagine tramping through thick woods with no air conditioning and mosquitoes as big as your leg looking for a bite to eat? Hernando Desoto did just that, and commemorating his path through what is now south Hillsborough County is last week’s photo of the trail marker on Highway 301, south of Highway 674 and just across from Beth-El Mission.
Getting an A in history this week are Capt. Gus Muench (I have seen those signs, great work), Claudia Alvarez-Lang (you are right on both counts, the sign and Wimauma), Jerry Foppe, and Marie Burg. More history buffs include Pat Shartran, Lynn (you are exactly right. Lynn who?), Jessie Bush, and Melanie P. Higgins (yes it is, thanks for playing). Michele Brennan and James Bass have teamed up again with excellent results (good job, I think I will let you guys work out the score keeping).
Just around the corner are the dog days of summer. Doggone it, I don’t want to give you too many clues.
Where in South Hillsborough is this?
