Sitting on a bench, with the slow pace of the water underfoot, and the heavy shade of the low trees over head, I leave the modern world behind. Last week’s photo of just such a bench at Camp Bayou located at 4140 24th Street S.E., Ruskin was recognized by a small group of slow paced folks (that’s a good thing).  First to sit down, we have Fred Jacobsen (yes I did, I wrote some as a youth, thanks for the kind words), Michele Brennan (it is beautiful as with so much of Florida, are you going to split the point with James?), Jerry Alexander (your first bayou is the right bayou, thanks for the encouragement, a little crawfish pie to go please), and Shirley Steele.  The NAPA crew is getting quite good at this game. Sam, Dan, Juan and Renee all gave me the right answer written on separate pieces of paper (a clean sweep makes me wonder). Beverly Dail also got it right, with no help from her colleagues (yours was the only right answer I heard among all the guesses).  In the not quite, but close enough category is Robin Williams (that’s so close to Camp Bayou it could be part of Camp Bayou).  Coming in after deadline with last weeks solution (Manatee RV Center) were David Barret and Barbara Zipperer. Don’t forget The Great Gas Giveaway starts July 24th. Answer that puzzle and the July 31st photo correctly, just as you always do, and I will take care of the rest. The players with the right answers will be entered in a drawing for a fifty dollar gas card. Deadline for July 24 guess is 5pm, July 29. With gasoline prices at a premium, this friendly guy is waving you in to help you save.
