View From the Road
 Soon a great number of our northern friends will be returning. I believe after the Presidential elections the flow will start.
I look forward to the return of some of my close friends. Over the years I have come to know many folks that spend their winters with us.
The winter returns just in time for me. My friends return and coolness follows them here. I am happy that the weather eases up some; my motorcycle rides will take a more comfortable turn for several months. Then the leather jacket and the cold weather gear come out of my closet.
I will soon be moving back to Hillsborough County, so my rides will be a little different. Pleasure rides will be to different destinations. For the last year my trips have been mostly between Lake and Hillsborough counties.
My work will be mostly on the west coast of Florida, with no overnight trips. That sounds really good to me, more time to enjoy my family and friends!
I look forward to a new adventure, with different types of locations to visit. Variety is nice; new friends and adventure lay before me. Once again I will be living in the part of Florida I love most. I will be able to see all of you and haunt my favorite restaurants and shops. That will be such a relief for me. Where I lived was nice enough, it just wasn’t home.
October will present me with new opportunities and challenges, both of which I look forward to. I will be sharing some new adventures with you soon.
Keep a look out for me back on the streets. You will recognize me by the big smile that I will have on my face. My “View From The Road” will have a happier tone, as I revisit my favorite places.
