Thursday, November 5
 Don’t miss Incognito Lounge’s Little Black Dress Party. From 7 p.m.-10 p.m., ladies who come out wearing a black dress will receive 10% off their entire bill for the evening. The Best Little Black Dress as judged by the audience will receive a free $25 bar tab. Jazz musician Gene Cannon will also be performing live from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

 The RiverHawk Music Festival will take place at the Sertoma Youth Ranch in Brooksville Nov. 5, 6, 7, and 8 from 11 a.m. to midnight all four days. There is an eclectic blend of Americana music ranging from bluegrass to Irish to Cajun, reggae rockabilly and more. The event is family friendly with camping over the entire weekend. Scheduled lineup: Red Stick Ramblers; The Gibson Brothers, Belleville Outfit, the Greencards, Chris Stuart & Back Country, Paul Cebar & the Milwaukeeans, Trailer Park Troubadours, Rani Arbo & Daisy Mayhem, Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, The Steeldrivers, King Wilkie, The Wiyos, and more.

Friday, November 6
 For $5, check out the Junior League of Tampa’s 6th Annual Holiday Gift Market with over 120 specialty merchants offering unique jewelry, clothing, handbags, home goods and much more at Entertainment Hall at Florida State Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Nov. 6,7,8).

 Dealers from all across Florida will gather at the Florida State Fairgrounds for the Tampa Bay RV Show to show and sell new and used motor homes, travel trailers, folding tent campers and fifth wheels. There will also be vendor booths featuring camping supplies and accessories, campgrounds and more. Demos will be available for road tests. Admission is $4 for adults, children 15 years and younger are free.

Saturday, November 7
n One of South Hillsborough’s largest events takes place at E.G. Simmons Park Nov. 7-8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and features savory seafood specialties, crafts, boat show, live island music, kids area with rides, games, strolling entertainment and more. Leashed pets are welcome. Admission is $5, children 11 and under free.
n One of my personal favorite Florida and Disney events is in its final weekend for 2009. Don’t miss Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival in Kissimmee, Fl. They will have more than 25 international marketplace kiosks that serve up tapas-sized portions of regional specialties and wines. There will also be seminars, demonstrations, guest speakers and chefs, and a concert by Los Lobos who will play their hit cross generation song “La Bamba.”

n Join the folks at Cracker Country from 10 a.m. to 4  p.m. to find out what life would be like on rural farms of the past. Learn about their “fall chores” like stuffing scarecrows, grinding corn, making rope, and sewing quilts. Learn about the process of grinding sugar cane to produce cane syrup and have a taste of the finished product. Adult admission tickets are $6 each, children ages six to 12 years old and senior citizens enter for $5, and kids five and under are admitted free. Parking is free for this event when visitors enter the Fairgrounds via the Orient Road entrance.

Sunday, November 8
 SPIFFS 35th Annual Folk Fair is offering a cultural fusion experience from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Albert Whitted Park, 480 Bayshore Drive S.E. in St. Pete. Eat your way around the world as you move from village to village, sampling a variety of homemade ethnic dishes. They will have folk dancing, arts and crafts, ethnic cuisine and an International beer garden.
