Selma Simmons Shenefield

Selma Simmons

Shenefield

Selma Simmons Shenefield, 56, of Apollo Beach passed away on May 26, 2008. She is survived by her loving husband, John Michael “Mike;” a son, Jason (Cheri); a daughter, Cindy (Jeff), mother, Jennie Ray “Jay” Simmons; a brother, Sam (Linda); two nephews, Sammy (Nikki) and Dean (Chivon), two great nieces, one great nephew and longtime friend, Pat Woolweaver and many other close friends.
She is now in heaven with her father, Royce Simmons. Selma’s death was unexpected by all and happened at a place she loved most (the Lake). She was a best friend to everyone and a full-time mother to all. Selma never met a stranger and will be remembered as befriending everyone she met and doing anything for anyone.
Selma now has an eagle’s eye view of all that is going on. Everyone who has come in contact with her now has their guardian angel watching over them.
Family received friends on May 30 at Sun City Center Funeral Home with a funeral following.
