Doris A. Kurucz
Doris A. Kurucz, age 83, of Sun City Center, Florida, died peacefully surrounded by her family in the home of her daughter in Hamsburg, Pennsylvania on April 29,2008 after a 17-year arduous and very courageous battle with cancer.
She was the daughter of Emma and Roy Dumey of Toledo, Ohio. Born in-Cleveland, Ohio, she married her one and only sweetheart, Tibor Kurucz on December 11,1942.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years and nine children: Kenneth (Kathy) of Walbridge, OH, Karen Kester (Duane, dec.) of Sun City Center, FL, Ronald of Scottsdale, AZ, Kathleen Crisrio (Ken) of Ann Arbor, MI, Christine Currier (David) of Mesa, AZ, Richard of Waynesville, OH, Susan DiSanto (Mark) of Hamsburg, PA, Barbara Olson (Richard) of Saline, MI and Deborah Muehlbach (Craig) of Downingtown, PA. She has 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Alice Oberly of Temperance, MI.
Doris was a graduate of Waite High School and attended Davis Business College. She was retired from The Ohio State University and moved to Sun City Center, Florida in 1985. She and her husband spent recent summers in Hamsburg, Pennsylvania surrounded by their loving children and grandchildren. In addition to her numerous activities to support her children as a girl scout leader and den mother, she was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in her community. She enjoyed roller skating, dancing, knitting, sewing and cross-stitch as well as spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Services will be private with arrangements by Neill Funeral Home of Hamsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Doris and Tibor Kurucz Scholarship Fund at Trinity High School, 3601 Simpson Ferry Rd., Camp Hill, PA; Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, P. O. Box 266, Enola, Pa. 17025; or the American Cancer Society, 3211 N. Front St., Harrisburg, Pa. 17110
The family wishes to thank their friends, family and co-workers for their support and prayers during this long difficult battle.

Carroll M. Olson
Olson, Carroll M., 84, lost his courageous battle with illness May 3, 2008. He was a former resident of Marshalltown, IA and a home builder and developer. He and his wife Helen retired and moved to Apollo Beach in 1978 and enjoyed living and fishing on Tampa Bay. In 1999 he moved to Sun City Center. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and lifelong Lutheran.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Helen, three children, Dianne, Tom, Jeff, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, six siblings and many other family members. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
According to his wishes, a private family service with be conducted aboard a family friend’s yacht. Memorials may be directed to LifePath Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, FL 33573. Special thanks to the Green Team at LifePath Hospice, and Sun City Center Funeral Home.
