Marvin D. Bean
Marvin D. Bean, 103, passed away peacefully April 25, 2009, in Sun City Center, FL.
Marvin was born in Downs, IL, June 21, 1905. He was preceded in death by his wife of 78 years, Dorothy; one son, Herb; and son-in-law, Gene Crittenden. He is survived by one daughter, June Crittenden, of Sun City Center, 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great­grandchildren.
He was a kind and patient man who loved his family, playing golf, playing cards, volunteering, and helping others. He was a member of the Ruskin Methodist Church.
Before moving to Sun City Center in 1995, he was a member of the Deerfield Beach Eastern Star, Masonic Lodge, and Shrine Club.
Private graveside services are being held in Deerfield Beach, FL. A celebration of his life will be held on May 8, 2009 at the Kings Point Clubhouse at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sun City Center Emergency Squad.

William I. Jarvie
  William I. Jarvie passed away with his friend, Jean Lacy on April 24, 2009. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Dolores F. Jarvie;  children, William C. (Cathy), David, Gregory (Vicky), Dolores Jean and Carole Jarvie and Cynthia (Douglas) McGraw; grandchildren, William, Caroline, Erin, Margaret and Emily Jarvie and Aaliyah McGraw and several nieces and nephews. 
Bill worked at Sybron Corporation in various management capacities for more than 25 years and was active in the Pittsford Little League.
 A funeral service was held on April 30, 2009 in Rochester, NY.  Donations in his memory may be directed to a charity of choice. To light a candle in memory visit www.anthonychapels.com.
