William E. Wagner
William E. Wagner (Sweet Old Bill), 81, of Ruskin, passed away on April 22, 2008 at his home.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 29 years, Josie; his son, Dan and wife Barbara of St. Louis; loving stepchildren, Kelly Jo of Tampa, Tracy Lee of San Diego and Julie Kay of Champaign, IL; sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Sweet Old Bill was a World War II army veteran who served in the South Pacific; a boat captain in St. Louis and well known in Florida as a diesel ­specialist for 65 years.

Sally J. Widmer
Sally J. Widmer, 71, of Sarasota, passed away on April 24, 2008. She was born Aug. 5, 1936 in Lorain, OH and was a 1954 graduate of Clay High School.

She is survived by her three children, Mark A. (Shawn), Kevin L. (Abby), and Lisa L. Dye (Tim); sisters, Mary Anne Loomis, Margaret Lerch (Bud) and Patricia Lester; brothers, Philip Moore (Bev) and Edward Moore (Pen); sister-in-law Carol Moore along with nine grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude A.; mother, Mary; father, Max; and her brother, Thomas Moore.

She was a devoted daughter of Christ, loving mother, grandmother and sister and wonderful friend, but words cannot express the measure of her loss.

Services will be held on Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m. in Waterville, OH at Highland Memory Gardens at 8308 So. River Rd. with a brunch immediately following at Farnsworth Park.

There will be an additional memorial service held in Sarasota, FL at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 18 at Shining Light ­Bible Church, located on Fruitville Road, where she faithfully served the Lord.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice, 3723 Upper Creek Dr., Ruskin, FL 33573 or the American Lung Association.

Arrangments were made by Lewers Funeral Home, Ruskin.
