Francis Eugene DeRyke
Francis Eugene DeRyke, 74, of Ruskin, passed away Aug. 8, 2008 at his daugher’s home in Auburn, NY.
Francis was employed for 40 years in the Operating Engineer Union in Syracuse, NY as a master mechanic and was a skilled handyman, both at home and at work.
Following his retirement, he owned and operated Frank’s Live Blue Crabs in Ruskin, FL where he was a commercial crabber. He enjoyed racing stock cars for many years and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by his two daughters, Patricia Reynolds of Auburn, NY, and Linda Hook of Throop, NY; one stepdaughter, Judith Sheridan of Skaneateles Falls, NY; two sisters, Mary Gray of Jodan, NY, and Joan Shiver of FL; one sister-in-law, Irene DeRyke of Ruskin; several grandchildren, including Karley, Emily, Grace and Bob Reynolds, Jeff and Kim Saphara; six great-grandchildren; and three nieces, Diane, Katie and Sherry De Ryke.
Robert G. Hupp
Robert G. Hupp, 86, of Sun City Center passed away Aug. 14, 2008. He was born in Bloomfield, NE and was employed by the Department of Army, Washington, D.C. for 33 years.
Robert was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia Ann. He is survived by Mary, his loving wife of 65 years; and one daughter, Dr. Sandra Hupp of Bloomington, IL.

Funeral services were arranged by Lewers Funeral Home, Ruskin.

Arnold Lee Young
Arnold Lee Young, 96 of Sun City Center died peacefully surrounded by the loving members of his family on August 21, 2008 in Sun City Center.
He was survived by his wife of 67 years, Evelyn Lois Young, his two daughters, Marsha Randall (Roger) and Lois Y. Conklin, his grandchildren Christopher Randall (Kelley), Heidi Seiffert (Grant), and Maegan L. Conklin (James Nidel). He had one deceased grandson – Brian W. Conklin. He was also survived by four great grandchildren, Bradyn and Bayley Randall and Ansley and Grant Seiffert Jr.
“Arnie” loved his golf, cards, his work with the church and the Masonry. “Chief” will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Arthritis Foundation can be given in lieu of flowers.
