Chamber Presentations and Events
Here are some interesting and ­informative events that will be held in the Chamber Banquet Room in the next few weeks. All are open to the public. On Thursday, April 24 from 1  to 4 p.m., the Republican Club will hold their open meeting. Anyone interested is invited to attend and for more information, you may call Dee Williams at 633-1360. 

Physician’s Choice Hearing and Dizziness will hold their presentation on a new hearing aid called the Odacon Epoq from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, April 30. Open to the public and light refreshments will be served.

Tuesday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to noon Florida Knee and Orthopedic Services, a division of Largo Medical Center, will present non-surgical alternatives to traditional knee surgery. No RSVP required but you may call 800-881-8485 for more information.

And for Chamber Members Only ...mark your calendar for great networking at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 5 at the Cinco de Mayo Chamber Coffee hosted by Homewood Residence located at 3910 Galen Court in Sun City Center. If you plan to attend and/or for more information, call 633-4340. 

If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador, call me at the Chamber at 634-5111, ext. 101 or join us at the next Ambassador meeting in the Chamber Board Room from 12:15 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29. This meeting is a brown bag “chat and munch;” we’ll supply the beverages, paper products, and utensils. See you there!

SCC Chamber members and Wal-Mart employees celebrated the super store’s first anniversary.
