Once a month I will introduce you to a member of the Sun City Center Chamber of Commerce to keep you informed of the excellent businesses in our area.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT:
SUN CITY CENTER TRAVEL

Lee Collis, owner of Sun City Center Travel, moved to Ruskin with her family in September 1975 and went to work for the local travel agency. Lee has extensive business and accounting background and education and was able to adapt her skills to her new career. She has seen a lot of changes in the community and feels strongly about her commitment to this area. In 2003 Lee purchased the agency from the former owner, Dolores Kneeland. Her love of travel and people make this her perfect career. She has traveled extensively all over the world and willingly shares her experiences with others. Lee keeps up on all the latest in travel and keeps the agency certified each year by taking education courses and tests to meet all the requirements for the agency to be considered an accredited, full service agency.

Lee and her husband have two children, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Lee’s husband Dan is pastor at Southside Baptist Church in Sun City and Lee is very active in the church. Lee’s mother, Millie Aumack, lives in Kings Point and is former president of the COA.
