It is amazing what a little incentive will do for our followers. The Great Gas Giveaway has brought out a slew of correct answers, that and a super easy photo of the National Weather Service weather balloon station, located at 2525 14th Avenue SE in Ruskin. I just happened along on a day when Brian Lamarre was on duty, and that was my lucky day. Thanks Brian, for your time and patience on that hot Saturday morning. If your name appears here and you guess this week’s photo correctly by 5:00 pm Monday, August 4, you will be entered into the drawing for the first fifty dollar gas card. We will announce the winner in the August 7 issue. Getting the forecast right this week we start off with Jimmy (spot on with your guess, but we need your last name), Pat Masterson (Ahh, the 60’s, that’s all I can say here), James Bass (I guess the gloves have come off), Kirk Faryniasz (you were told right, good job, keep playing), Bill Galbreath, Betty Johnson, and Michele Brennan (as you can see, I have heard, good luck). More weather watchers include Juanita Sehorne (it’s nice to hear from you, thanks for the kind words, and be sure to guess this issue), Andrew Butler, Beverly Dail, Becki Stafford (sometimes life can get in the way of what is really important) and Cynthia Manion. The Bergschneider family used all forms of communication for their answers: Dan with a hand written note, Rayne sent an email and Renee spoke to me face to face. Keeping a eye on the sky are Jayson Simmons, Sam Baldwin, Juan Guerrero, Annie Rodriguez (don’t forget our bargain), Beatrice Reyes, Jessica Smith and Greg Killingsworth, who also gets a point in the bank for Bill’s Car Place from two weeks ago. In England you park your car at the carpark. What would you park here and where in South Hillsborough is this? It has been brought to my attention that some folks are answering the puzzle in the comments section of the website, which gives the answer away to the world.
