The Great Gas Giveaway is coming soon.  How would you like to win a $50.00 gas card?  Who wouldn’t?  Starting July 24th we are sponsoring two contests to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Observer News.  To be that winner, just do what you do best; answer Where in South Hillsborough correctly.  The first contest will run in the July 24th and July 31st issues and the second contest in the August 7th and August 14th issues.  Answer both weeks of the July contest correctly and you will be entered in a drawing to win July’s contest.  The same rules apply to the August contest.  Good luck and happy guessing.  Last week’s photo of the Manatee RV Park entrance at 6302 US Highway 41 South conjures up images of barn dances and hay lofts.  Lee Collis knows right where the fun has just begun, as does Shirley Arnold, Ana M. Rodriguez (you are all correct, be sure to look for the clues this week), and Beverly Dail (you must have been on a two hour lunch when Annie and the girls made their guess).  Waving back at the welcome committee are Marian De Vries, Don Lynch (swing your partner, doseedo), Tom Smithers, and Michele Brennan (thanks for the holiday wishes, keep on waving).  Bobby Benson located the needle in the haystack along with Jerry Alexander (repeats come with the territory, thanks for the kind words), and Wendy Bass (it was a pleasure meeting you, hope the weed whacker is running well).  This week’s Three NAPAteers include Sam Baldwin, Juan Guerrero, and Renee Bergschneider.  Jason Andrew Griffin comes in with a correct guess for the South Shore Regional Library from three weeks ago.  What a pretty spot to sit and ponder, makes my mind all a-wander, sit with me or I with you, for a happy day along the bayou.  Where in South Hillsborough is this?  Send your guess or camping games to 210 Woodland Estates Avenue S.W., Ruskin, FL 33570 or email where@observernews.net.
