Spelling is kind of a basic skill for a sign maker. Last week’s photo of the street sign located at 21st Street and College Avenue in Ruskin gives evidence to the lack of this basic skill. Although twenty-oneth or twenty-firth is fun to say (your mouth contorts in an unusual fashion) it is not correct. Making the correction this week we have Claudia Alvarez-Lang (you may be a bean counter, but you know your spelling), Michele Brennan Budd (if you keep going it would be twenty-tooth, twenty-threeth and so on), Ryan and Harold Almand (I figured you guys would have no trouble with this one), Dianne Bradbury and Bill Galbreath (spot on with the spelling, just a hair off on the location). Most of the NAPA crew knows how to spell: Sam, Juan and Dan (we won’t mention who didn’t get it). I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a merry Christmas. While heading north, but not quite to the North Pole, you might recognize this holiday decoration. With the sun in your eyes in the late afternoon and the sound of a lazy river just off to your side, you might wonder what a nice montage. Where in South Hillsborough is this? Send your guess or wreath making tips to 210 Woodland Estates Avenue S.W., Ruskin, FL 33570 or email
