A Sea Cow is a somewhat homely creature, but fascinating to watch. If you want a first hand look at these creatures you must pass through the gates at the Manatee Viewing Center in Apollo Beach, which were pictured in last week’s photo. Those gate tops were created by Weimer Mechanical Services, Inc. Bobby and his crew did a great job. Having been to the viewing center about a year ago, I felt another visit was needed as the gate tops are a new feature. Many of you are regular visitors as well, starting with Laurie Brown (to be fair I have to give Bev partial credit), Harold Almand (all the Almand credit goes to you), Cheryl Russell (good luck with the testing), Denise Buzbee (thanks for playing) and Bob Wilder. More manatee viewers include Mary Murray, Tanya Killebrew (you are doing very well at this game, keep up the good work), Delana Garcia, Andrew Butler, Bill Galbreath (with cold weather coming, so will the manatees), Geoff Szymanski and Jim Reed (that’s a good guess, do you play lotto?). Fifty percent of the NAPA crew came up with the correct answer. Sam Baldwin and Dan Bergschneider both knew where we were last week. A small conveyance traveling on yet smaller stones, how easy we go. Where in South Hillsborough is this? Send your guess or sausage links to 210 Woodland Estates Avenue S.W., Ruskin, FL 33570 or email
