The JV flag football team under head coach Greg Taplin finished the season at 5-1 improving over last year’s record of 2-2-1. In the season finale the team lost to Newsome 14-0. However, EBHS has the best league record. Newsome finished 4-2, not undefeated as previously reported. Varsity, 4-2, lost in overtime 13-12 to Newsome. East Bay dominated offensive play but was unable to score in the red zone on several occasions. The final two regular season varsity games are at home, Durant Monday 4/14 at 7:00pm, Armwood Thursday 4/17 7:00 pm
That ends the regular season. Then we play in the District tournament at Newsome vs. Newsome. Game should be Monday April 21 at 7:30 pm. If we win then we play for the championship Tuesday. April 22 7pm. If we win, then Saturday at EBHS April 26.
