Solar Screens Gain Popularity as Temperatures Rise

When I went out west to visit my sister in New Mexico he had no idea I would be bringing back to Florida a new product that can save homeowners a great deal of money on their air conditioning and heating bills.

Sitting in my sister’s house looking out the window I said , “What is on your windows?”  She said they were solar screens. I have lived in Florida for over 40 years and never heard the words “solar screens.” She explained the solar screens were made on-site to fit the outside of the window. The screens block up to 80% of the sun’s heat before it hits the glass, reducing the interior room temperature up to 15 degrees. She went on to explain that they can also cut your air conditioning bill up to 50% and the benefits do not end there. During the daytime your neighbors cannot see into your house, but you can see out. The screens actually allow 75% of the natural light into the room so you do not have to close your blinds or curtains during the day; but at night your neighbors can see in, so make sure you keep your blinds for nighttime privacy. The screens also block up to 80% of the harmful UV rays that can fade furniture, carpet, and wood floors. My sister has solar screens installed on five west-facing windows and is currently having them installed on all the south-facing windows.
I was amazed to see how well the screens worked as I sat in the house. They are extremely popular in New Mexico, as well as throughout the entire southwest.  This product has been proven in California, Arizona, and Texas for the last 10 years. I knew I had to bring this proven product to homeowners in Florida. It works on windows, doors, skylights, patio screens, and pool enclosures.
The screens offer protection from pesky insects; they are a more durable alternative to regular screens, and are even flame-resistant. The screens accentuate the beauty of your home and are available in six colors: black, gray, brown, desert sand, white, and beige. The frames are available in five colors: bronze, white, almond, mill (aluminum), and gray.
The screens begin working the moment they are installed and you start saving money right away!
