Enjoy a Holiday Experience at Julia’s Florist
You’re invited to a holiday experience from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14; and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at Julia’s Florist, 761 Cortaro Dr., Sun City Center.
See the trendiest, traditional with a twist, designs this season and a variety of gift giving ideas. Entertainment will be by Music Avenue. Everyone is asked to bring a bag of canned goods for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate from Julia’s Florist. The donations will be taken to Good Samaritan Mission in Wimauma.
Refreshments will be served and the first 200 attendees will receive a 2009 floral calendar. There will be lots of discounts and door prizes. So, let’s all come together at Julia’s Florist to get in the holiday spirit and celebrate the season, while helping others.

Freedom Plaza Supports Memory Walk 2008
Freedom Plaza, a Brookdale Senior Living community, is pleased to announce its commitment to support the Alzheimer’s Association as a Platinum National Team for Memory Walk 2008. The walk helps to raise funds for research, care and support.
The community hopes to be able to raise at least $10,000 to support the local Alzheimer’s Association, hosting an Alzheimer’s Memory Walk on Saturday, Nov. 22 and a Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 6.
The Alzheimer Association can do this with the support of people like you. Consider participating, sponsoring or donating to this worthy cause. It will be a lot of fun, and together the community can make a difference.

Apollo Beach CPA Firm Announces Successful Peer Review
The Apollo Beach accounting firm of Alvarez Company P.A. CPA firm has successfully completed a rigorous review of its accounting and auditing practice. The reviewer concluded the firm complies with the stringent quality control standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the national professional organization of CPAs.

CPA Firm, has been a member of the AICPA for the over 34 years and explained the importance of the AICPA Peer Review. “Only a minority of Florida CPA firms go through this process. It validates to our clients that our firm continues to comply with the highest standards as we continue to deliver quality service and professionalism while complying with stringent quality control policies.” The review was conducted under the auspices of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants following the standards issued by the AICPA.

Keller Williams Realty South Shore sponsors ‘Family Fun Day’
In keeping with the real estate franchise’s core values, the Keller Williams Realty South Shore Market Center in Apollo Beach hosted a “Family Fun Day” which collected money for the Sun City Lions Club, KW Cares Foundation, and the local KW Agent Fund.
“We believe in supporting the community where we live and work. It’s our way of saying thanks to our friends, neighbors, clients and customers,” says Team Leader Sally McFolling. “This was a collective team effort and the event included a huge rummage sale, baked goods, food, and children’s activities,” said McFolling.
The South Shore KW Cares 2008 charity is the Sun City Lions Club where most of the funds are used in this area. Among the charities supported by the Sun City Lions Club are the Mary & Martha House in Ruskin and the Sun City Center Volunteer EMS Squad. All of the items not purchased from the rummage sale were donated to the Good Samaritan Mission in Wimauma.
