Daniel R. Jablonsky Sr.
Daniel R. Jablosky Sr., 79, of Apollo Beach, passed away June 24, 2007.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army; retired from Zenith Corporation as a field test engineer; a member of St. Anne Catholic Church; and a 4th degree Knight of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; three sons, Daniel Jr., Thomas and John; three daughters, Elizabeth O’Malley, Mary Sue Moustafa and Barbara Butterick; a sister, Mary Anne Hedin and 7 grandchildren.
A Mass of Resurrection was held June 27 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Ruskin.
Entombment followed at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, Brandon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the University of Miami, Kessenich MDA ALS Center, 1150 N.W. 14th Street, Suite 701, Miami, FL 33136.
Arrangements were under the direction of Sun City Center Funeral Home, Ruskin.
Paul W. Schemenauer
Paul W. Schemenauer, 87, of Sun City Center, passed away June 7, 2007.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army; retired owner of J & M Accounting in Ruskin; commodore of North Lake Association in 2000; a member of Knights of Columbus; the American Legion, all in SCC; a member of the Elks Lodge and a avid golfer who made 2 holes-in-one with witnesses.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte.
Survivors include his wife, Susan; four children, Sister Carroll “Polly” Schemenauer, Mary Jo Sherman, Marty Schemenaue and Janet Grant; 2 stepdaughters, Denise Toledo and Dinorah DiFonzo; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The Resurrection was celebrated June 13 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center.
Interment with military honors were held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LifePath Hospice or Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center.
Arrangements were under the direction of Sun City Center Funeral Home, SCC.
